Field of Beans
Our garden is only 15' x 15', but I've already canned 40 pints of beans and given away at least 15 pints worth to friends and family. Everybody in this area seems to have had problems growing beans this year, but ours look like thisThey're growing like that on all four sides of the garden, even though we only planted them on two sides; the rest are rogues from last year! They've slowed down with the cooler days, but there are a lot of blossoms on - if it warms up again, I'm going to be swimming in beans.
Inside of that bean jungle are 14 tomato plants (which, of course, waited until school started to really start coming on), 2 rows of okra, a row of potatoes (5 lbs of starter potatoes), 6 green pepper plants and a monster hill of zuchinni (10 plants!). My canner has been running full-time for almost 2 weeks, but we'll be in good shape for veggies this winter.

Gorgeous! If I get 1/4 of that haul next year, I'll be darned proud.
Thats pretty amazing by how they are growing now on all four sides with only planting on two sides. Thanks for sharing the great photo. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
